Description:GENERAL SKILLS:
� Strong software development skills
� Strong database engineering skills
� Sales Force experience a plus!
� Proficient in a mixed new system development / system support environment
� Proactive in identification, communication, and resolution of potential issues

BUSINESS PARTNERING AND REPORTING:
� Reports directly to the Senior Software Developer
� Partner with the Development team to deliver high quality software builds on time and consistently release new applications into production on time and with high quality
� Partner with the IT staff to plan, implement, and enhance a high-uptime portfolio of IT systems
� Partner with the IT staff to support technology roll outs
� Partner with the IT staff to support the company�s portfolio of applications and systems
� Partner with business users to plan for successful technology releases and integration into organizational processes
� Partner with consultants and contractors as needed
Duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
� Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications
� Develop, maintain, and enhance system integration components
� Data modeling as well as development, maintenance, and tuning of database stored procedures
� Provide business hours reactive support for software applications
� Facilitate software requirements definition through discussions with business stakeholders, application mockups, and prototyping in an iterative development environment
� Participate in software application design in compliance with architectural requirements
� Develop and execute unit test plans and facilitate software quality assurance process
� Technical documentation including but not limited to technical requirements documentation, technical design documentation, release notes, deployment documentation, and production support documentation
� Test software systems and document software defects and steps to reproduce
� Document repeatable test plans for IT systems
� Coordinate cross-functional user acceptance testing
� Provide as-needed assistance to IT support personal to triage IT support issues and test potential resolutions
� Interact with all Operations units on a regular basis, serving as a liaison for the implementation of new technologies and keeping IT abreast of changes, issues and opportunities.
� Some system administration and configuration tasks for key technology platforms
Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
� BS or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years work experience in related field
� Strong foundation in Sales Force with demonstrable experience in deployment.
� Strong SQL skills with a minimum of 3 years experience in Microsoft SQL Server
� Object-oriented programming and analysis skills
� Experience with J2EE/Java programming platforms
� Experience with C#/.NET programming environment
� Practical experience with XML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
� Practical experience with LDAP/Active Directory and associated maintenance and application integration
� Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
� Strong preference for candidates with Business Objects experience
� Strong preference for candidates with system administration and/or web server administration experience including Windows Server 2008, IIS 7+, and JBOSS
