|Duties:|| Assisting with customer audits and reviews for the purposes of identifying claims eligible for reimbursement pursuant to state Second Injury Fund (SIF) guidelines|
Case set up and research, including reviewing and organizing medical records and legal documentation
Managing and updating database content for deadline tracking and claim oversight
Interacting with customers for the purpose of status updates and claim referral management
Own caseload of ongoing reimbursement filings for submission and disbursement with various state Trust Funds
Owning a caseload of SIF claims, meeting monthly KPIs for drafting petitions and sending to LLP
Proper administrative case preparation, copying, filing, faxing and mailing to meet monthly KPIs
The Recovery Specialist is a non-exempt position with 20% travel requirements.
|Qualifications:|| A minimum of 1-3 years of claims management experience, preferably in a customer service organization and workers compensation and/or insurance fields in Massachusetts|
National travel by commercial airline, a valid drivers license and the ability to rent a car and reserve a hotel room
Travel to customer locations as needed for trainings and claim reviews
Satisfactory criminal background record check
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel and Access
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to execute action plans and meet deadlines
